Stefan Reuter is a former German professional footballer who played as a defender. He was born on October 16, 1966, in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. Reuter began his professional career at FC Bayern Munich, where he won the Bundesliga twice and the UEFA Cup. He also played for Borussia Dortmund, which he helped win two Bundesliga titles and the Champions League in 1997. Reuter also played for the German national team and was part of the Euro 1996-winning squad. After his retirement from playing, Reuter became a sporting director at FC Augsburg and later at Borussia Dortmund.
